Hello, hope you’re having a great day, whatever day it is. If you’re not having a great day, I hope you get through this, and if no one told you already, IM PROUD OF YOU. Congrats for at least waking up, because we all know even that can be hard. I just wanted to check in and say hi to my peoples.

Recently, I’ve being a doing a whole lot more reading, and I feel as though it’s been priming my brain for writing too. It’s been pretty common to associate voracious reading to prolific writing, and up until now, I’m not sure I totally believed it. Obviously, I believed if you read a lot, you might then become a better critic of writing, and that it might improve the quality of the work, but I’m starting to see the effects on how much quicker I can put words on a page. Admittedly, I wouldn’t consider the rate at which I’m reading to be voracious per se, but It’s definitely more than I have in the past couple years, and it feels amazing.

In related news, the end of the month is coming up, and I’m planning on doing a monthly book review post, where I talk about the books I’ve been reading this past month. I’m planning on putting a bit of effort into the presentation of that one a bit, possibly adding pictures to the actual post and not just as a header. I’m not entirely sure how well that post will go, but imma post it anyway! So stay tuned for that.

I’m also gonna be posting the third chapter of my story later today after some edits, i hope people read that and give me some feedback, but not expecting much. the expectations are low.
